Thai Hoa Town summarizes the work of publishing and using party newspapers

(Baonghean) On the morning of March 5, the Propaganda Department of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee coordinated with the Town Post Office to organize a conference on the publication and use of Party newspapers and magazines in 2011 and to deploy tasks for 2012.

In 2011, the number of party newspapers published: Nghe An newspaper 279 issues/day/277 party cells, reaching 100.7% of party cells having Nghe An newspaper; the number of Nhan Dan newspaper publications 258 issues/day/277 party cells, reaching 93.1% of party cells having Nhan Dan newspaper. However, there are still 27 party cells and 10 schools that do not have a party newspaper.

Awarding certificates of merit to 5 units with outstanding achievements.

At the conference, delegates pointed out the existing shortcomings, which are: leaders of some agencies and units have not thoroughly grasped and fully implemented the directives of the Central and the province; have not considered the Party's newspapers and magazines as documents providing useful information for grassroots Party cell activities, so they have taken lightly the direction on purchasing and using the Party's newspapers and magazines; many grassroots Party organizations have not purchased enough and have not been stable, especially schools... The conference also agreed to make the purchase of Party newspapers and magazines a criterion for annual emulation scores; innovate the distribution method and coordination between units and post offices...

In addition to 5 certificates of merit from Nghe An Newspaper, on this occasion, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee awarded 5 collectives with outstanding achievements in publishing and using Party newspapers and magazines in 2011.
