U21 SLNA advances to the final round with an undefeated record
(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon (August 11), the 3rd match of Group B - Qualifying Round of the 2018 National U21 Football Tournament took place at Vinh Stadium. After 2 consecutive victories, U21 SLNA met U21 Dak Lak in the final match.
After 2 victories of 4-0 against U21 Binh Dinh and 3-0 against U21 Khanh Hoa, U21 SLNA leads Group B with 6 points, scored 7 goals, did not concede any goals and has a firm chance to win a ticket to the finals. Therefore, with just a draw against U21 Dak Lak, U21 SLNA still needs a ticket to the finals as the winner of Group B.
The match between U21 SLNA and U21 Dak Lak took place with great determination from the away team, while U21 SLNA was not in a hurry. However, the young team from Nghe An still encountered many difficulties against the opponent's pressing style of play. It was thanks to a set piece that U21 SLNA was able to open the score. In the 57th minute, from a free kick from a teammate outside the 16m50 box, Pham Duc Thong moved wisely, headed the ball back past the Dak Lak goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, U21 Dak Lak won the remaining ticket as the second team in the group (5 points).
