Provincial People's Committee organizes the Love Moon program at SOS Children's Village Vinh

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Hong Vu said: This year's Mid-Autumn Festival is very special after we had to go through two Mid-Autumn Festivals with many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
During that time, the children of SOS Children's Villages tried and made efforts with their mothers, families and the Village to overcome difficulties and also achieved many good results in studying, cultivating and training.

In the 2021-2022 school year, the Village has 171 children from grades 1 to 12, many of whom have strived to overcome difficult circumstances, becoming good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho; 118 children have received the title of "Filial Children" awarded by the Village; many children have won high prizes in the Provincial, City and School Excellent Student Competitions and have received many worthy scholarships. 100% of the 12th graders have passed the national high school graduation exam, many of whom have achieved university entrance exam scores of 26 points or higher, and 3 children have been admitted to the Party while in grade 12.

With the spirit of "No child left behind", the Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs hopes that the Party Committee, government, sectors, unions, families, organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists will continue to pay attention, prioritize and create conditions to help and support the children of the Village at the highest level; helping them overcome difficulties to excel in their studies and life.
At the ceremony, delegates gave gifts and enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival with the children at SOS Children's Village Vinh.
