Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province directly presented the above amount of money. Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Department of Health represented the provincial health sector to receive the support money.

At the handover, the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province affirmed that immediately after the symbolic handover ceremony, the provincial Fatherland Front will transfer the money to the Department of Health to continue implementing epidemic prevention work. The representative of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee also emphasized that this is a valuable source of funding supported by organizations, businesses, individuals inside and outside the province as well as overseas Vietnamese in Nghe An from all over the country, so he hopes that the health sector will use it most effectively in epidemic prevention work.

The leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also said that the Fatherland Front system at all levels continues to call for and receive support from organizations, businesses and individuals for epidemic prevention work in the area. In the coming time, in addition to handing over support sources to support localities and functional forces, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to transfer funds to the health sector to carry out Covid-19 epidemic prevention work in the area.

Representatives of the Nghe An Health Department pledged that immediately after receiving the above funding, they would use it effectively for Covid-19 prevention and control in the area. Representatives of the Nghe An Health Department also thanked the support of all levels, sectors, organizations, businesses, individuals and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to work with the Health Department and functional forces to effectively prevent and control the epidemic.

Previously, on April 9, at the meeting of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province agreed on the policy of allocating funds from the support of organizations, businesses and individuals received by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, transferring 6.5 billion VND to the Department of Health to implement epidemic prevention and control in the area.
