(Baonghean) - One of the key tasks that the Party Committee of Dien Ky commune (Dien Chau) focused on leading during the 2010-2015 term was to carry out economic transformation, arrange crops in the direction of commodities, link the transformation of cooperatives in the direction of streamlining and efficiency, promote the agricultural, farmer and rural movement with the construction of new rural areas. The Party Executive Committee issued a thematic resolution on economic development, land conversion, building high-income fields; expanding occupations, developing trade and services, applying biological advances to cultivation, animal husbandry, seafood processing, creating jobs, improving people's lives.

In agriculture, Dien Ky has carried out a "green revolution" in the fields by consolidating fields, exchanging plots, building large model fields, integrating the program of building new rural areas with promoting the concrete of irrigation canals, intra-field traffic, installing electric pumping stations along the Bung River by promoting internal resources, mobilizing people's strength; up to now, Dien Ky has succeeded in converting crops towards commodities, building specialized rice and color areas of 300 hectares, with income from 85 to 120 million VND/ha. In particular, converting low-yield peanut, corn, and sesame areas to grow red watermelon and other plants with high income value per unit area.

Continue to develop diverse industries, private enterprises, and stable business limited companies. Currently, there are enterprises investing in construction and operating in the Thap - Hong - Ky industrial park, creating conditions to attract labor in the area; up to now, the whole commune has 1,229 service business households; at the same time, promote labor export... Thanks to that, the economic growth rate during the term reached an average of 15.6%; average income per capita in 2014 reached 31.8 million VND/person, 1.8 times higher than in 2010.

The Party Committee also focuses on investment in basic construction. In 5 years, the total investment value is 43,969 million VND. Strengthening the promotion and introduction of the local potential and strengths, calling for investors, especially inviting children working far away to invest in economic development. In addition, mobilizing internal resources from the people to contribute nearly 2 billion VND to build traffic, irrigation in the fields, build cultural houses and village stadiums; build centralized waste treatment sites; doing a good job of site clearance for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A through the commune and Thap - Hong - Ky Industrial Park.

The cultural and social fields have many positive changes; the rate of cultural families reaches an average of 72.5%/year; 6/9 villages achieve the title of Cultural Village, 5 agencies, units and 3 clans achieve culture; maintain physical education and sports movements well. Regarding education, attention is paid to facilities and equipment to meet the development of education. The comprehensive quality of education is always ranked at the top of the district. All 3 schools are advanced and excellently advanced. The work of encouraging learning and talent is focused on and promoted, encouraging teachers and students to have many high achievements in teaching and learning.

Regarding health care for the people, Dien Ky is recognized as meeting the new national standards for health. Doing well in social security work, policies for people with meritorious services... During the past term, the commune mobilized and supported the construction and repair of 112 houses, contributing 112 million VND to the Fund for the Poor; the poverty rate in 2014 was 4.83% (according to the new standards), down 8.77%... At the same time, paying attention to building solidarity, village relationships, and neighborhood relationships between teachers and non-teaching staff, closely attached, and respectful of each other. Stabilizing and maintaining national defense - security, and social order.

During the term, the Party Committee led and directed the mass organizations and Party cells to do a good job in summarizing and evaluating and classifying Party organizations and mass organizations. Through the annual classification, there were no weak Party cells, and political organizations were always ranked by superiors as having fulfilled their tasks well or better. The Party Committee achieved the title of Strong Party Cell for 2 years and achieved the title of having fulfilled its tasks well for 3 years. At the same time, it did a good job in planning, training, improving the capacity, professional qualifications, and political theory of the incumbent team and source cadres. Promoting the internal potential and strengths of the locality, taking advantage of the support of superiors, in the 2015 - 2020 term, Dien Ky Party Committee sets out goals and solutions to further promote the economic restructuring towards industry, small-scale industry, trade services, and occupations; creating a mechanism for each specialized production area, linking production with livestock and consumption markets for prestigious and branded products; effectively implementing the socialization of education, health care, and job creation; promoting internal resources to continue to improve infrastructure, linking economic development with strengthening national defense and security, preventing and repelling social evils; striving to gradually improve the material and spiritual life of the people, completing the goal of building new rural areas; strengthening the work of building a strong Party, government, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations, striving for the Party to achieve a clean, strong, and exemplary strong organization.
