Dien Phuc Commune (Dien Chau) receives certificate of recognition as a new rural commune

In recent years, Dien Phuc commune has been proactive in shifting its economic structure in the right direction, diversifying production and business sectors... thanks to which, up to now, the average income per capita has reached nearly 32 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate is below 3%.

In the construction of new rural areas, Dien Phuc has mobilized over 234 billion VND in capital, of which people contributed over 173 billion VND... from which, the commune has built nearly 10km of rural roads, a martyrs' cemetery, built and upgraded 3 schools, 8 hamlet cultural houses, the commune People's Committee headquarters, medical stations....

By the end of 2017, Dien Phuc had completed 19/19 criteria and was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting NTM standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee and people of Dien Phuc commune in the movement to build new rural areas. He also requested the commune to continue to improve and enhance the quality of the achieved new rural criteria, towards building a commune that meets the model new rural standards.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals who had many outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement and a welfare project worth 300 million VND./.
