Dien Tan Commune (Dien Chau) restores village well relic
(Baonghean.vn) -According to the people of Dien Tan commune, the village well (communal house well) of the commune existed before the communal house (the communal house was built in 1913).
Mr. Cao Khoa (village chief) said: Previously, Dien Tan commune had only 5 hamlets, the whole village only had one well for daily activities and serving the temple. The well water was clear and sweet. Due to the war, the well was filled in.
People are restoring the village well.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of the village communal house. In response to the wishes of the children in the commune who went to work far away, contributing to the creation of the landscape and preserving the village culture. The Cultural Committee of Dien Tan commune called on people to support and contribute money to restore the village well. With the contributed cost (35 million VND), on March 13, 2013, the village well began to be restored. It is expected to be completed by March 24, 2013.
