Quynh Trang Commune (Hoang Mai Town) received the certificate of recognition of new rural standards.

Notable among these are investments in the construction of infrastructure systems for electricity, roads, schools, stations, markets, etc. Investing more than 17 billion VND to upgrade 46 km of canals and 1 pumping station for irrigation, investing 1.1 billion VND to upgrade the market, combining over 44 billion VND of capital from all levels and people to concrete and asphalt 100% of commune and inter-commune roads, 87.3% of village main roads and 100% of alley roads with a total length of more than 63 km.

The project of renovating fields, converting land from small plots to large plots, encouraging people to proactively change crops, and investing in intensive farming has brought about certain results.

The average income per capita in Quynh Trang is currently over 32 million VND/person/year. The poverty rate has dropped to below 3%, and the employment rate has reached 90%.

Along with upgrading economic and technical infrastructure, Quynh Trang commune also focuses on investing in upgrading school infrastructure, medical stations and cultural and sports facilities from commune to hamlet.

Currently, the commune has 2 schools that meet national standards, and strives to complete the construction of a secondary school that meets national standards this year. The cultural and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved.

At the ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards, the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Trang commune were awarded a bonus of 500 million VND by the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Nghe An joins hands to build new rural areas" were also commended by the Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Mai Town People's Committee and Quynh Trang Commune People's Committee.

The total budget that Quynh Trang commune mobilized in the New Rural Development Program was 459.8 billion VND, of which people invested 364 billion VND in upgrading and rebuilding houses and contributed and supported 37.74 billion VND in building criteria; the state budget at all levels supported 43.76 billion VND; other sources 2 billion VND.
