The most difficult situation right now is in communes like Quynh Trang and Quynh Lap, because the conditions for implementing online teaching and learning are not favorable - Mr. Loc added.

Due to the complex developments ofCovid-19 epidemicon the siteHoang Mai townTherefore, students in the town may have to take a long break from school. To ensure the completion of the 2020-2021 school year program as planned and to ensure safety in epidemic prevention, the Department of Education and Training has also issued a document guiding the organization of online teaching, testing, and assessment and other forms during the time students are temporarily out of school.

Regarding teaching content: Units review the implementation of educational plans to identify subjects and educational activities that have not been implemented, thereby selecting appropriate teaching content in the form of online teaching and other forms to ensure core knowledge and skills for students.

For educational institutions that cannot organize online, the school principal shall direct professional teams and groups to unify content; assign teachers to prepare a system of questions, exercises, learning tasks, and outlines to guide students in self-studying new lessons and reviewing; and at the same time coordinate with parents to assign to each student and receive results of students' tasks.

In addition, the principals of secondary and high schools decide to choose the form of periodic testing and assessment according to Circular No. 26/2020/TT-BGDDT dated August 26, 2020 of the Ministry of Education and Training (tests, practice tests, learning projects). In case the test (on paper or on computer) cannot be conducted, the units can choose to conduct periodic testing and assessment through practice tests and learning projects of students.

If testing and assessment are conducted online: Principals of secondary and high schools decide on the form of periodic testing and assessment according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring that testing and assessment are accurate, fair, objective and honest. Educational institutions can choose multiple-choice or essay testing or a combination of multiple-choice and essay testing.
