Passenger bus carrying citizens completing Covid-19 quarantine burned down on National Highway 15A
(Baonghean.vn) - At around 3:55 p.m. on August 23, a 29-seat passenger van with license plate 37B-024.85 was traveling on National Highway 15A in the direction of Do Luong - Tan Ky, when it reached the beginning of Giang Son Dong commune - Do Luong, and caught fire fiercely.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police Department directed Fire Prevention and Rescue Team No. 5 to dispatch 2 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene. However, due to the long distance traveled (about 15 km), by the time they arrived, the fire had engulfed the entire passenger bus. After efforts to spray water to put out the fire, only the frame of the bus remained.
According to driver Nguyen Huu Oanh: “I was driving, suddenly I saw smoke, I got out of the car and saw smoke coming from under the engine. After evacuating the passengers, the fire spread very quickly, there was nothing we could do.”
