Yen Thanh handled 45 cases of illegal land exploitation, fined over 160 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, illegal land exploitation has occurred in some communes of Yen Thanh district. The authorities have conducted inspections and handling; at the same time, assigned the responsibility of the head in managing and protecting unexploited land resources in the management area.

Accordingly, from the beginning of 2022 until now, the districtYen ThanhCoordinated with district police to inspect and handle 45 cases of illegal land exploitation, fined over 160 million VND to the budget, and detained over 30 excavators and cars used for illegal land exploitation.
According to the report of the authorities of Yen Thanh district, illegal land exploitation cases are mainly concentrated in mountainous communes such as Ly Thanh, My Thanh... Some subjects take advantage of leveling and lowering the ground to transport excess soil to illegally exploit minerals.

Mr. Thai Huu An - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Yen Thanh district said: The People's Committee of Yen Thanh district requested a serious review and specific handling of the relevant departments, agencies, and communes directly involved in the incident.illegal land exploitation.
Yen Thanh district continues to direct units and People's Committees of communes and towns to strengthen the work of grasping the situation to prevent, promptly stop and handle acts of arbitrary leveling, lowering ground level, arbitrarily buying and selling production forest land, agricultural land, taking advantage of leveling and lowering ground level to transport excess land for illegal mineral exploitation. All acts of illegal exploitation of resources will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
