Burial of martyrs' remains in Cambodia

(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 40 years of resting at the International Cemetery of Thuan An town, Binh Duong province, the remains of martyrs who died in Cambodia were brought back to their hometown of Nam Dan (Nghe An) for burial.

On the morning of March 14, the People's Committee of Nam Xuan commune, Nam Dan district, in coordination with the martyr's family, held a memorial service and buried the remains of martyr Nguyen Anh Nhu at the local cemetery.

Martyr Nguyen Anh Nhu was born in Xuan Mai hamlet, Nam Xuan commune, in 1958, enlisted in the army in 1976, and died on the Cambodian battlefield in 1979. For more than 40 years, the martyr has been resting at the International Cemetery of Thuan An town, Binh Duong province.

According to the wishes of the martyr's family, for the convenience of relatives in traveling, caring for, and offering incense, the martyr's remains were moved to be buried in the cemetery in his hometown.
