Old woman fell into canal and died while washing grass for cows
(Baonghean.vn)- While washing grass for her cows, an old woman in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province slipped into the water. Four hours later, her body was found 10 meters away.
The incident occurred at around 9am on June 6. At that time, Ms. Tam (87 years old), residing in Con Chuoi hamlet, Cong Thanh commune, was washing grass for cows on the bank of canal N2 running through the commune. Unfortunately, Ms. Tam fell into the canal and went missing.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities and local people immediately organized search and rescue operations and reported to superiors.

The leader of Cong Thanh Commune People's Committee said that at 1:45 p.m., the authorities found the old woman's body about 10 meters from the accident site.
