Discussing solutions to ensure harmony between production and business and epidemic prevention in industrial parks

In the past 2 days, at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, 04 F0 cases appeared working at 03 production lines, belonging to 01 workshop of a company. This company currently has 1,900 officers and employees; the F0 workshop alone has 600 workers.

After the appearance of 4 F0 cases, the authorities, industrial parks, and companies have actively implemented epidemic prevention measures such as investigation, tracing, disinfection, and testing of related cases. Initial investigation and tracing results have temporarily identified 102 F1 cases, including 79 F1 cases in the company. Currently, the authorities are continuing to search for people who traveled on the worker shuttle bus with F0.

At the meeting, the delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the situation; discussing solutions to both prevent the epidemic safely and ensure production. The key content was to isolate F1s, test and screen F0s, and mobilize workers to carry out production according to the "3 on-site" motto.

Concluding the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Director of Nghe An Department of Health clearly stated: Nghe An always creates the best conditions for businesses to produce and trade. In the context of the complicated epidemic situation and high risk of outbreak, businesses need to implement safe epidemic prevention and control to ensure uninterrupted production.

There are 6 solutions that VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, the company with the infected case, needs to implement immediately, which are: Isolate and identify areas related to F0; continue to investigate and trace thoroughly to identify more F1s; immediately organize centralized isolation of close-contact F1 cases. The remaining people in the company implement plan 3 on-site, ensuring safety, "isolating and participating in production".

Regarding testing, companies with Covid-19 cases need to immediately conduct “pooled sample” PCR tests for all staff and workers; conduct periodic screening tests according to regulations...

The company needs to review and make a list of workers who can participate in "3 on-site" production. The Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, VSIP Industrial Park and the company will communicate and mobilize workers to participate in both epidemic prevention and production. Those who cannot "3 on-site" can be temporarily suspended and required to report to local authorities upon their return for management and health monitoring.

Regarding long-term solutions, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh suggested: VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park and companies continue to effectively implement the policy of "Safe and flexible adaptation, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic". Specifically, companies need to closely monitor the epidemic situation, proactively supplement epidemic prevention scenarios according to the actual situation; develop a plan to both produce and fight the epidemic according to the motto "3 on-site", "one route, 2 destinations"; well implement documents guiding epidemic prevention and control in the industrial park; promptly report to the Southeast Economic Zone and local authorities for good coordination in handling epidemic situations; ensure harmony between "production and business and epidemic prevention".

Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh directed the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Hung Nguyen District Medical Center to continue to inspect and re-evaluate the epidemic situation; guide the industrial park and the company to carry out epidemic suppression. The Nghe An Department of Health will create the best conditions for human resources as well as propose to the Provincial People's Committee to support vaccines to inject the second dose for workers as soon as possible./.
