Selling goods of unknown origin, fashion shop owner fined 45 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - The owner of a famous fashion shop in Yen Thanh (Nghe An) was discovered selling more than 4,200 clothing products of unknown origin.
On May 26, information from the Provincial People's Committee Office said that Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had just signed a decisionpunishadministrative violations in commercial activities against 1 individual, amount of 45 million VND.
The person fined is Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (born in 1992), residing in Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district - owner of a famous fashion shop.
Previously, during the inspection of the business activities at the store owned by Ms. Huyen, the authorities discovered more than 4,228 fashion clothing products of unknown origin. Ms. Huyen could not present legal documents related to the above goods.
This batch of fashion clothes is worth less than 100 million VND, according to the provisions of Point c, Clause 1 and Clause 11, Article 17, Decree 98/2020/ND-CP, Ms. Huyen must pay the above fine. In addition to the administrative fine, the fashion shop owner also had all of these goods confiscated.
