(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 100 houses in Tam Son, Cam Son, and Anh Son communes are at risk of being swallowed by the "river god" after the circulation of storm No. 9. People here are restless every time the flood rises, and the Lam River fiercely "eats" deep into the village's land.

Mr. Bui Xuan Hoa in hamlet 1 of Tam Son commune said: During the recent flood, the garden soil was washed down the Lam river about 15 meters, including a large bamboo bush in the village that is now under the river. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Giang - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Anh Son district said: The entire Anh Son district has over 40 km of Lam River running through it. Currently, Tam Son and Cam Son communes have over 100 households at risk of their houses collapsing into the Lam River due to riverbank erosion. During the recent storm season, the district had to evacuate over 30 households along the Lam River to a safe place.
