Nghe An Newspaper gives gifts to support people in Ky Son district affected by flash floods
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to join hands to help people in Ky Son district overcome the consequences of flash floods and soon stabilize their lives, officers, reporters and staff of Nghe An Newspaper donated and presented 22 million VND in support.
Implementing the Open Letter calling for "Support for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, sharing the loss of people and property caused by floods in Ky Son district, on October 4, representatives of Nghe An Newspaper presented 22 million VND in support to the mountainous district of Ky Son to contribute to overcoming the consequences of the historic flood on October 2.

Previously, on the morning of October 3, Nghe An Newspaper organized a launching ceremony to support and share difficulties with local people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters throughout the unit. Through that, officers, reporters and employees of Nghe An Newspaper donated a total of 22 million VND.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, in the early morning of October 2, atKy Son districtA huge flash flood occurred. According to statistics, the flood swept away and completely collapsed 56 houses, flooded and damaged 186 houses, isolated 236 households and 966 people in Ta Ca commune and Muong Xen town. 2 cars were swept away, 10 cars were buried. The road from Muong Xen to Tay Son commune, National Highway 7 connecting Dien Chau district to Nam Can border gate, Ky Son, was eroded, causing traffic jams.
