On the afternoon of October 17, we returned to the construction site of Hoang Mai 2 Bridge on the North-South Expressway. Below the bridge, the dirt road that was built across the river had not been completely dug up, even though the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town had continuously sent official dispatches urging and reminding the construction units to thoroughly resolve the issue to ensure flood drainage requirements and proactively respond to the developments of storms and floods. On the southern bank of the river, a temporary concrete bridge pier has not yet been demolished, not to mention the road leading to the river has not been completely cleared, causing the flow to be constricted. Photo: Tien Dong |
