Arrested 02 subjects storing and transporting rare animals
(Baonghean.vn) - Quy Chau District Police have just successfully broken up a case, arrested 02 subjects for hunting, buying and selling endangered and rare animals, and seized 02 live pangolins.
Accordingly, after a period of synchronous implementation of professional measures, on March 4, 2024, in Chau Thuan commune (Quy Chau district), Quy Chau district police arrested Luong Van Thoang (born in 1988), residing in Chau Thuan commune, for hunting and trading in endangered and rare animals.
Seized evidence includes 02 live pangolins, 01 car and some other related evidence.
Expanding the case, on the same day, the police arrested another suspect, Ha Van Hanh (born 1975), residing in Chau Thuan commune, also for the above act.
The case is continuing to be investigated and handled in accordance with the provisions of law.
