Accordingly, from the beginning of April 2024 until now, through the work of grasping the situation, Nghi Loc District Police discovered that Nguyen Khac Toan (born in 1997), residing in Vo Liet Commune, Thanh Chuong District, had suspicious signs of colluding with a number of subjects in Nghi Loc District to buy and sell drugs in large quantities to "addicts" inside and outside Nghi Loc District.
As a serious drug addict with a criminal record for drug use, Nguyen Khac Toan's activities were extremely sophisticated, constantly changing methods, locations, and means of delivery to avoid the authorities. Faced with this situation, Nghi Loc District Police established a special project to combat the drug.
After a period of monitoring and applying synchronous professional measures, on May 21, in Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghi Loc district police broke up a case and arrested Nguyen Khac Toan for illegal drug trafficking. The seized exhibits included 1,000 pink synthetic drug pills weighing 95.5 grams; 01 motorbike; 02 mobile phones. At the police station, the subject admitted to the crime.
Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are continuing to expand the investigation.
