Arrested subject buying and selling 24,000 pink pills
(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency of Hung Nguyen District Police said that they are detaining Lau Ba Ly (born 1994) for "Illegal drug trafficking".
Previously, in early 2023, through intelligence work, Hung Nguyen District Police discovered a drug trafficking ring illegally transporting large quantities of drugs from abroad to Vietnam through unofficial channels for consumption.
After a period of persistent monitoring and grasping the situation, on June 23, 2023, at Km 53, National Highway 46A in Thanh Tien village, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district, Hung Nguyen district police presided over and coordinated with Thanh Chuong district police to arrest Lau Ba Ly (born in 1994), hometown Nam Can commune, Ky Son district; current residence in Bolikhamxay province (Laos) for the act of "Illegal drug trafficking".
Seized evidence included 24,000 drug pills (pink pills), 05 bullets, 01 mobile phone.
At the police station, Ly confessed all his crimes.
The case is currently being expanded.
