Arrested 2 subjects transporting nearly 100kg of firecrackers to 'serve' a wedding
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing that many people use firecrackers in weddings, Bac and Long brought firecrackers from Dien Chau district here to sell. During the "shipment" this afternoon (July 8), both were arrested by the authorities with 96.6kg of firecrackers.
On the afternoon of July 8, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency announced that the unit had just coordinated with the Customs Control Team, Nghe An Customs Department to successfully break Project 719P, arresting 2 subjects transporting nearly 100kg of firecrackers.
Previously, public opinion reflected that the situation of setting off fireworks at weddings in Nghi Truong commune, Nghi Loc district was quite common, affecting security and order. Nghi Loc district police established Project 719P to fight and clarify the subjects who brought fireworks into this locality for sale.

Using professional measures, on July 8, Project 719P received information that two subjects in Dien Chau district would transport fireworks to Nghi Truong commune, so they decided to break up the project.
At 1:30 p.m. the same day, in hamlet 2, Nghi Truong commune, the General Investigation Police Team presided over and coordinated with the Customs Control Team, Nghe An Customs Department to discover and arrest two subjects, including: Nguyen Huu Bac (born in 1988), residing in Dien Xuan commune and Thai Khac Long (born in 1985), residing in Dien Minh commune, Dien Chau district, both traveling in a car with license plate 37A - 495.91, transporting firecrackers for sale.
In the trunk of the two subjects' car, there were 5 bags of snake carcasses, containing 69 mortars of various types, made abroad, with a total weight of 96.6 kg.
Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are detaining 2 subjects and exhibits for investigation.
