Young man arrested for renting a car to transport 3kg of crystal meth for 30 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - 30 years old with 3 previous convictions, Khanh (residing in Thinh Son commune, Do Luong, Nghe An) continued to commit a crime when he accepted to transport 3 kg of crystal meth for 30 million VND in wages.
On September 9, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that Dien Chau Traffic Police Station arrested a subject transporting 3 kg of crystal meth.
Previously, upon receiving information that a subject rented a car to illegally transport drugs from Do Luong to Dien Chau for sale, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station notified patrol teams to inspect suspicious vehicles.

At about 2:30 a.m. on September 7, at km422-QL1A in Dien Ngoc Commune, Dien Chau District, Nghe An, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected car with license plate 37A - 198.06 driven by Nguyen Van Luong (born in 1975), residing in Hamlet 6, Dong Son Commune, Do Luong.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that Dao Vuong Khanh (born in 1989), residing in Hamlet 5, Thinh Son Commune (Do Luong), and a black handbag containing 3 white bags (suspected to be methamphetamine) weighing 3 kg were also on the vehicle. The task force arrested the person and took the vehicle to the unit headquarters for questioning.

During the investigation, Dao Vuong Khanh initially confessed that he was hired to transport the drugs for 30 million VND. Khanh then hired Nguyen Van Luong to take him to Dien Chau district to deliver the goods and was arrested.
It is known that Khanh has 3 previous convictions for extortion, property destruction and illegal drug trafficking.
Currently, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station has handed over the subject Dao Vuong Khanh and the evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police to conduct an expanded investigation for handling according to the provisions of law.
