Closing the 21st Congress of Do Luong District Party Committee, term 2020-2025

On August 14 and 15, the 21st Congress of Do Luong District Party Committee, term 2020-2025, agreed on many important contents, clearly defined goals, tasks and solutions to promote socio-economic development, Party building, building a strong political system, ensuring solid national defense and security.

At the Congress, there were many enthusiastic discussions, contributing to the action program of the District Party Committee in the coming time; at the same time, contributing opinions to the draft Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 and the 13th National Party Congress.

In the congress program, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave an important speech, suggesting many solutions to promote socio-economic development in Do Luong. On that basis, the requirement was set to soon turn Do Luong into a fairly developed district of the province and reach the goal of a sustainable new rural district.

259 official delegates attending the Congress, representing the will and aspirations of nearly 11,000 party members in the district, voted to elect 38 comrades to the 21st Executive Committee of the Do Luong District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

At the first conference, the Executive Committee of the Do Luong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term elected the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee consisting of 13 comrades. The conference also elected comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Secretary of the Do Luong District Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Do Luong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Party Executive Committee of Do Luong district also elected two comrades Hoang Van Hiep and Nguyen Tat Hoai Hiep to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The first meeting of the Party Committee of Do Luong district elected the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 7 comrades; Comrade Tran Van Long was elected as Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Delegates also voted to elect 18 official delegates and 2 reserve delegates to attend the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

The conference also elected the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the District Party Committee for the new term.
