8-year-old boy missing while chasing ball that fell into Vinh River

Information from Trung Do ward government,Vinh Citysaid that in the ward, a child went missing on the evening of October 24.

Specifically, the child's name is Nguyen Anh Tuan (born 2013), residing in block 2, Trung Do ward. He is about 1m30 tall.

According to relatives and neighbors, between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. on October 24, Tuan, wearing a purple shirt with red and white stripes on the chest and black, striped slippers, was playing soccer with his friends. The ball then rolled into the river. He chased after the ball and disappeared.

After learning that the child was missing, the family and neighbors went out to search and reported to the local authorities for assistance. Upon receiving the news, Trung Do Ward dispatched forces to coordinate with the Fire Police and Rescue Police to search for the child along the Vinh River and surrounding areas.

Throughout the night of October 24 to the morning of October 25, all search efforts by the forces have yet to yield results.
