Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee participates in making banh chung to give to poor households in Ky Son border area
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 15, comrade Hoang Van Phi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Nguyen district and comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee participated in wrapping Chung cakes to give to poor households in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district.

This is an activity within the Warm Winter 2018 and Spring 2019 volunteer program, attracting 100 youth union members to participate. The program results in about 500 banh chung being sent to poor households and served for the year-end meal of students in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district.
From January 16-18, 2019, Hung Nguyen District Youth Union will organize the program "Warm Winter 2018, Volunteer Spring 2019" in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district. In the program, the delegation will give warm clothes to children, give banh chung, fish sauce, cooking oil to poor people in Nam Can commune; coordinate with units, examine and give free medicine to people here.

In addition, the delegation also coordinated with the Border Guard to organize a New Year's Eve meal with more than 50 trays of food for students of Nam Can Primary and Secondary School with a total program budget of about 140 million VND.
Secretary of the Hung Nguyen District Youth Union Cao Thi Hang said: "The program aims to arouse and strongly promote the pioneering and volunteering role of youth union members with the aim of helping people in border areas have a warm Tet."
