Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung received General Director of WHA Group
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated the determination of WHA Group in implementing infrastructure investment projects in industrial parks in the province and attracting investment in recent times.
On the afternoon of January 6, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung received Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul - General Director of WHA Group (Thailand).
Also participating in the reception were comrades: Le Tien Tri - Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
On behalf of WHA Group, there were Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul - General Director; Nguyen Thi Bich Lien - General Director of WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company.
Welcoming Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul - General Director of WHA Group (Thailand) to visit and work in Nghe An, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung appreciated the feelings that she and the members of the Group have for Nghe An province.
The Provincial Party Secretary also appreciated and highly appreciated the determination of WHA Group in implementing investment projects in industrial parks in the province and attracting investment in recent times.
Sending congratulations to Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung on his new position, WHA Group General Director Jareeporn Jarukornsakul sincerely thanks the attention, support and companionship of the Provincial Party Secretary in particular and the provincial leaders, departments, branches, sectors and localities of Nghe An province in general for WHA Group from 2017 to present.
The General Director of WHA Group said that up to now, the group has invested 310 million USD in Vietnam and expects that by 2025, Vietnam's economic situation in general and FDI attraction in particular will continue to have breakthroughs as the investment shift from China to Vietnam becomes stronger.
Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul also sincerely thanked the province for its support in getting the Prime Minister to approve the investment policy and approve the investor of the WHA Industrial Zone 2 - Nghe An project; at the same time, she believed that the group would continue to expand and develop further in Nghe An.
On the occasion of the New Year 2025, WHA Group General Director Jareeporn Jarukornsakul sent his best wishes to the Provincial Party Secretary and leaders of the province, departments, and branches for a year of good health, happiness, and success.
With sincere thanks for the wishes of Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed that the results in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development in general and investment attraction in particular of Nghe An province in recent years have had a very important contribution from WHA Group.
Over the past 3 years, Nghe An has emerged as one of the provinces with the largest FDI attraction results, ranking in the top 10 nationwide. WHA Group alone has attracted 1.26 billion USD out of about 5.8 billion USD in industrial parks in the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized that the fields that WHA Group attracts such as electronics manufacturing, new equipment, optics... are very suitable for the province's development requirements according to new trends. WHA Group is also very determined in implementing projects on industrial park infrastructure.
To date, the WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An project has completed 2 phases with an area of nearly 500 hectares; the WHA Industrial Zone 2 - Nghe An project has been approved for investment with an area of more than 183 hectares. Thereby, increasing the FDI capital attracted by Nghe An province in 2024 to nearly 1.75 billion USD, the highest ever.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed the province's consistent stance in committing to accompany, support, and create the most favorable conditions for industrial park infrastructure investors, including WHA Group, to realize industrial park development goals in a timely manner.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung hopes that WHA Group will promote investment attraction, promote the development of industrial parks in the province, contributing to the development of Nghe An in the coming period; at the same time, he wishes the Group more success, contributing to the success of Nghe An province.
