Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs inspects production and business activities in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 12, during the working program in Nghe An, comrade Dao Ngoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the working delegation inspected production and business activities at a number of factories in the province.
Also going, on the side of Nghe An province, were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.
The inspection aims to grasp the difficulties and obstacles in production, business, public investment, infrastructure construction, import and export and social security in the locality.

The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the working delegation inspected production and business activities at Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company, located in Bac Vinh Industrial Park (Vinh City).
This is one of three garment factories invested by Minh Anh Group in Nghe An province. The company currently creates jobs for about 2,500 workers, with an average income per capita of about 6.5 million VND/month.
Minh Anh Group's leaders said that by the end of the first quarter of 2023, the factory had produced about 2.5 million products with an export turnover of about 13 million USD.
This year, the factory's orders have decreased due to the global economic recession and the shift to lower-cost countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, and Central and South America. Unit prices have decreased by 10% - 25% compared to before. In addition, fluctuations in labor resources have more or less affected the company's operations.

Faced with that situation, Minh Anh Group has proactively implemented solutions such as finding more customers, diversifying markets; being more proactive about goods sources; flexibly reorganizing production, reducing working time and cutting unnecessary costs.
The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs directly visited the production line; visited and encouraged workers and employees. He shared the difficulties of the enterprise and hoped that the leaders and employees in the enterprise would make efforts to maintain production, pay attention to the domestic market to promote product consumption, and soon overcome the current difficulties.

Next, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and the delegation inspected the production and business activities at Luxshare-ICT Company Limited, located in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park (Hung Nguyen district).
This is one of two companies under Luxshare - ICT Group invested in Nghe An. The factory started operating in June 2020 and is creating jobs for more than 7,500 workers, with an average income of about 7.5-8.5 million VND/month. The factory is currently recruiting workers, and is expected to have about 15,000 employees by the end of 2023.

The main products manufactured by the company are mainly cables, connecting wires, chargers, wireless chargers, wireless headphones, electronic cards, wireless headphone cases, computer speakers, and handheld walkie-talkies.
The company's main export markets are the US, India and South Korea. Currently, Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Group is preparing conditions to put the Luxshare-ICT 2 project into operation in the second quarter of 2023.

At the inspection, the leader of Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. said that in order to implement the Luxshare-ICT 2 project, the Group hopes that local authorities and relevant agencies will support the company in finding a labor force of about 50,000 people. At the same time, it hopes to be provided with a stable power source to ensure uninterrupted production and business activities.
In response to the proposal of Luxshare-ICT Nghe An leaders, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung suggested that the enterprise closely coordinate with vocational schools in Nghe An to train quality labor resources; and move towards bringing Vietnamese workers into management positions to reduce labor costs and product prices.

In addition, the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs suggested that the company should study the use of more domestic raw materials, pay attention to the domestic market, and move towards producing finished products in Vietnam.
