The outstanding young men enlisting this time were selected from 13 communes and towns of the district and assigned to the following military units: Division 324: 70 young men, Nghe An Provincial Military Command: 10 young men, Nghe An Border Guard: 6 young men, Ministry of Public Security: 6 young men.
