On the afternoon of July 15, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the preparations for the 15th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021. Focus on completing content on schedule
The 15th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, is scheduled to be held in 3 days from July 20 to 22, 2020. At this session, the Provincial People's Council will review 26 reports and 22 draft resolutions on socio-economic, national defense and security. Based on the reports, the draft resolutions developed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee have been reviewed by the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council committees.
Up to this point, the contents of the Standing Committee and the People's Council's committees have basically been received and explained by the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sent draft reports and resolutions with explanatory and acceptance reports to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council.
However, there are still 9 reports and draft resolutions that have not been completed after review to be sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on time.

In addition, at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council agreed with the policy of including a number of investment projects in the meeting agenda for consideration and decision; however, it requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors to carefully prepare the content to explain and clarify to the Provincial People's Council regarding a number of concerns.
That is the survey, planning and technical design to ensure post-investment efficiency and beneficiaries of the project to build an irrigation system to serve production for the O Du people (Vang Mon village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district).
Or the issue of transferring investment capital from the 2015 - 2020 period to the 2020 - 2025 period and changing the investment category compared to the initial approval of the draft Resolution on the investment adjustment policy of the Bac Nghe An Vocational College of Economics and Technology project.

Concluding the review meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien requested the Committees and the Office of the Provincial People's Council to continue to coordinate with the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches to complete and send reports, draft resolutions as well as remaining explanatory and acceptance reports, the deadline is July 16 for the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to send to the Provincial People's Council delegates on July 17, 2020.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested the Provincial People's Committee to absorb the opinions of the meeting participants, proactively prepare full content to explain at the meeting, in order to solve practical issues arising, and promote the overall development of the province.

Also this afternoon, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee also reviewed the contents and work related to the 15th session of the Provincial People's Council.
