(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 10, the provincial People's Council delegates from Group 7 in the constituencies including the towns of Thai Hoa, Hoang Mai, and Cua Lo discussed in groups. Comrades Le Xuan Dai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Minh Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the discussion.

Comrade Le Phuc An, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town, chaired the discussion session. Attending the session were elected National Assembly deputies of the 13th tenure in the above localities, representatives of the Department of Statistics, Department of Construction, Provincial People's Court, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Information and Communications.

Participating in the discussion, the delegates agreed with the reports of the People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the sectors; highly appreciated the efforts of all levels, sectors and people who have strived to overcome difficulties, and achieved many outstanding results such as: attracting investment, building infrastructure, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, and social security. Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that the work of calling for investment has many positive and comprehensive features, especially in recent times, the province has attracted strong investors, projects have been implemented quickly, and environmental protection work has been carried out strictly. Regarding the work of handling oversized and overloaded vehicles, Nghe An has also implemented drastically, creating clear changes and has been highly appreciated.

Sharing the same view, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the results in investment attraction in 2014. The registered capital and number of projects both increased, the budget revenue exceeded the estimate. However, comrade Le Xuan Dai said that to improve the efficiency of investment attraction in particular and other fields in general, administrative reform needs to be promoted and more drastic. Because the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) and the level of people's satisfaction with public services are still not high. Focus on improving labor productivity.

Agreeing with the positive results in the province's investment attraction, but for the Phu Quy area, including Thai Hoa Town, Comrade Le Tien Tri - Secretary of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee expressed his opinion: Currently, the general planning for the construction of the Phu Quy area is being assigned to the investor, Bac A Bank. Therefore, the province is requested to urge investors to speed up the implementation progress so that localities in the area can be proactive in building economic and social development plans.
