Before that, at around 4:00 p.m. on October 18, there was an argument in the office of Ms. Ho Thi Dung - Head of Nursing Department of Hung Nguyen District Medical Center. People ran over and saw Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao arguing loudly with Ms. Dung.
A person held a phone to record the incident. According to the image in the clip, Mr. Thao held a chair in his right hand, and pointed his finger at the person in front of him with his left hand. Mr. Thao held the chair and swung it forward.
In his report, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao said that when he went down to work, he passed by Ms. Dung's office. There, he had a loud argument with Ms. Dung. Because he was so angry, he pushed the tables and chairs in the room.
According to the head of the TCHC department, the cause of the incident was a conflict in cleaning up leaves in the area where household waste was left on the way to the center's side gate.
“The director called me to inform Ms. Dung to run the nursing team to clean the environment, but Ms. Dung did not cooperate and even seemed upset. This is not the first time Ms. Dung has shown such an attitude,” Mr. Thao said, adding that the incident happened because he was too upset, angry, and could not control himself.
