Apartment fire in Vinh city, hundreds of people panic
(Baonghean.vn) - The fire at Tan Thinh apartment building caused hundreds of people to try to escape in a state of panic and congestion, many people were trapped.
At 03:57 on November 6, a fire broke out at Tan Thinh apartment building, Le Mao extended street, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team No. 1 to dispatch 1 command vehicle, 3 fire trucks, 1 water tanker and more than 40 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

Immediately, the Fire Police force deployed a rescue team, directly rescuing more than 20 people; guiding hundreds of people to safety; and simultaneously deployed a fire fighting team.

During the fire fighting and rescue, 01 Fire Police officer was suffocated by smoke and is currently receiving emergency treatment at Hospital 115.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
