Man slashes apartment security guard because his wife was scolded, both injured

On August 8, Binh Tan District Police, Ho Chi Minh City are consolidating records to handle those involved in the case of using iron pipes and knives to resolve conflicts at Nguyen Quyen apartment building, Binh Tri Dong ward, Binh Tan district at noon on August 7.

The person who slashed Mr. Ly Chi Cuong (born in 1962, residing in District 10, an apartment security guard) was identified as Truong Phu Thang (born in 1989, residing in Nguyen Quyen apartment building). After getting his wound stitched, Thang went to the police station to confess to the incident. As for Mr. Cuong, he is currently being treated in the hospital for two slashes to his body.

According to Thang's testimony, at noon on August 7, Thang drove his wife from the basement parking lot to the apartment building's security room. At that time, in the security room, there was another security guard besides Mr. Cuong. Thang's wife asked the two security guards, "Have you seen anyone sending online goods to me?". One of the two security guards gave the package to Thang's wife but gave it to the wrong one. Later, he found and gave another package to Thang's wife. While looking for the goods, Mr. Cuong used harsh words, which made Thang angry, and the two had a conflict.

The two sides started fighting with their hands, then Thang used a chair to attack Mr. Cuong. After being stopped by everyone, Thang went up to his apartment and went down to get a knife and went into the security room to look for Mr. Cuong.

Mr. Cuong also took out an iron pipe to talk to Thang. The two sides used weapons to attack each other, Mr. Cuong suffered 2 cuts on his body, Thang also suffered a head injury that required 6 stitches. The entire incident of the weapon fight was recorded by the apartment's camera.

After getting his wound stitched, Thang went to the police station to present himself.
