Previously, at noon on March 14, the fishing boat of Mr. Nguyen Van Sa (residing in Tan An village, An Hoa) as captain and 5 other crew members were fishing at sea when the waves sank. Mr. Sa and everyone immediately sent out a distress signal and reported the location of the sunken boat so that other fishing boats around would know where to come to the rescue. At the same time, he and 5 crew members connected plastic cans together to make a raft and jumped into the sea together.
After 6 hours of floating on the sea with a plastic can, at 6pm the same day, he and his fellow fishermen were fortunately rescued by another fishing boat. By the afternoon of March 15, all 6 fishermen were safely brought to shore. The ship worth billions of dong had completely sunk at sea.
Currently, the People's Committee of An Hoa commune is working with the family to discuss a plan to hire a ship to salvage Mr. Sa's sunken ship./.
