(Baonghean.vn) - While stealing dogs, two brothers were caught red-handed by residents of Kim Khanh hamlet, Nghi An commune, Vinh city and handed over to the police.

Accordingly, at around 4:00 a.m. on February 11, residents of Kim Khanh hamlet, Nghi An commune, Vinh city discovered two young men riding a motorbike picking up dogs and cats and putting them in sacks, so they called for everyone to surround and arrest the subjects and hand them over to the Nghi An commune police, Vinh city.

The identities of these two subjects were identified as Vo Hien Minh (born in 1979) and Vo Hien Bay (born in 1988), both residing in Dong hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune, Nghi Loc district. Minh and Bay are two brothers. Local people handed over the two subjects and more than 20 dogs and cats to Nghi An commune police.

According to initial information, on the night of February 10 and early morning of February 11, these two subjects spread bait in front of residential areas in Kim Khanh hamlet. After waiting for the dogs and cats to eat the bait, they took sacks to collect the "spoils of war" to sell for profit. However, while carrying out the act, they were surrounded and arrested by local residents.

Vinh City Police are investigating and taking statements from the two suspects, while also expanding the investigation to handle the case according to the law.
