Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Yen Thanh, Quy Hop and Nghia Dan districts re-elected after the congress

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Yen Thanh, Quy Hop and Nghia Dan districts held the Congress of delegates for the 2019-2024 term.

*The 22nd Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thanh districtaffirmed that during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations in the area continued to have many innovations, contributing to the overall development of the locality.

Notably, Yen Thanh district leads the province in new rural construction, with 34/38 communes meeting the standards and registering to reach the new rural district finish line by the end of this year. The work of participating in Party and government building, supervision and social criticism has been well implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations.

In the spirit of solidarity, democracy, consensus and development, the Congress democratically elected the 22nd term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term 2019 - 2024, consisting of 73 members, and elected a Standing Committee of 7 members.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Tue - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XXI, was re-elected by the Consultative Congress as Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XXII, 2019-2024.

At the same time, the congress also democratically consulted to elect a delegation to attend the upcoming Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Congress.

* During 2 days (May 15 and 16), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district also held the 23rd Congress of Delegates, term 2019-2014.

The Fatherland Front and its member organizations of Nghia Dan have carried out many activities to encourage union members, members and people of all walks of life to compete in labor, hunger eradication and poverty reduction. In 2018, the average added value per capita of Nghia Dan reached 51 million VND/year, the poverty rate decreased to 5.2%. The Fatherland Front takes care of socio-economic development, social security issues, especially caring for the poor and policy families.

The mobilization work to build the “For the Poor” Fund has been responded to by all levels, sectors, member organizations and people of all walks of life, raising over 3.7 billion VND; supporting over 20,000 poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the Tet For the Poor program with over 7.8 billion VND.

The work of supervision, social criticism, participation in Party building and government building has achieved positive results in the past 5 years. The Fatherland Front from district to grassroots levels has conducted over 1,000 supervisions.

The consultative congress elected 64 members to the 23rd Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district for the 2019-2024 term. Mr. Vo Quang Hoa was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghia Dan district for the 2019-2024 term.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district has diversified the forms of mobilization, gathered people from all walks of life to develop more member organizations and outstanding individuals, creating diversity and richness in organization and activities, achieving many outstanding results.

In 2018, the total production value of Quy Hop district reached nearly 4,800 billion VND. The average growth rate in the 5 years from 2014-2018 reached 7.18%; the average income per capita increased to 26.5 million VND in 2018.

The movement of the whole people joining hands to build new rural areas has initially achieved many important results. Up to now, people have voluntarily contributed 5,892 million VND, donating nearly 24,000 m2 land, more than 2,100 working days to build rural traffic works. The whole district has 6 communes meeting new rural standards, 1 town meeting civilized urban standards.

In the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists to support more than 17 billion VND. In 2017 - 2018, from the mobilized money, in order to help poor households escape poverty quickly and sustainably, the District Party Committee advised the District Party Committee to support 234 calves for 234 poor households; contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the whole district to 13.8% in 2019.

The movement of all people participating in protecting security and order in the area has been effectively coordinated and implemented. Up to now, the whole district has 351 self-managed security and order model groups with 1,347 members; 286/286 hamlets, villages, and blocks have mediation groups with a total of 2,143 members...

The Congress voted to elect a new Executive Committee with a total of 65 members and elected a delegation of 7 members to attend the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress. Comrade Ngan Thi Hong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the District Fatherland Front Committee was re-elected as Chairwoman of the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 15th term, 2019-2024.
