Car owner in Nghe An fined 70 million VND for letting driver overload cargo
Standing Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An signed a decision to impose administrative sanctions on Quy Hop Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company.
The penalty decision dated April 18 clearly stated that Quy Hop Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company (located in Nghia Xuan commune, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province; with Mr. CXT as Director and legal representative), was administratively sanctioned for allowing employees to drive vehicles carrying goods exceeding the permitted tonnage as stated in the vehicle's Technical Safety and Environmental Protection Inspection Certificate by 100% to 150%; stipulated in Clause 15, Article 32 of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic; deducting and restoring points on the Driver's License.

For the above violation, Quy Hop Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company was administratively fined 70 million VND according to the provisions of Clause 15, Article 32, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23, Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020).
In addition to the fine, Quy Hop Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company also had its badge revoked for the car with license plate 37F-005.19. The badge revocation period is 2 months, calculated from the effective date of the penalty decision.
