Pham Thi Phu has 10 previous convictions for "Theft of property" from 1998 to present with a total sentence of 27 years and 3 months in prison, including 3 sentences with a total sentence of 8 years and 6 months in prison that have not been executed for the reason of raising a child under 36 months old.
As a professional thief, Phu often takes advantage of the middle of the night to sneak into hotels in Cua Lo Town to steal wallets and phones from tourists.
