Nghe An police busted a ring specializing in supplying ecstasy to bars and karaoke bars.
(Baonghean.vn) - The drug trafficking ring was busted, led by Tran Duc Dung (also known as Dung "Muc" residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district), who specialized in supplying ecstasy to bars, dance clubs, and karaoke bars.
On June 28, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Police) announced that the unit had just discovered and arrested a subject for illegally transporting 3,000 ecstasy pills.

At the end of May 2020, through professional work, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Police discovered an illegal drug trafficking ring led by Tran Duc Dung (Dung "Muc"), residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district. The unit established a special project to fight.
On June 25, after receiving information that Dung and his accomplices would transport a large quantity of "goods" for sale, the task force decided to crack the case. At around 5:45 p.m. the same day, in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Nghe An Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with Dien Chau Traffic Police Station - Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) to discover and arrest Tran Duc Dung, born in 1992, residing in Tay Loc hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, and his accomplices while illegally transporting drugs.
Authorities seized 3,000 ecstasy pills (weighing more than 1.1kg) and 1 motorbike at the scene.

At the investigation agency, Tran Duc Dung confessed to all his crimes. Accordingly, the ecstasy was transported to Vietnam by Dung in collusion with a number of subjects abroad, then divided and distributed to the provinces for consumption, mainly targeting those who want to have fun, especially at bars, dance clubs, and karaoke bars.
