Captain Pham Quoc Hoi, from the traffic control team at Bac Vinh Bus Station, said: This is the first day the Team has organized the distribution of free masks to passersby, with the goal of promoting the wearing of masks to prevent disease and protect the health of the community.
Also according to Captain Hoi, based on the direction of the Provincial Police Director at the conference on implementing solutions to prevent and combat the Corona virus epidemic on the morning of February 1, currently each of our officers and soldiers wear medical masks when in contact and working with people.

Faced with the complicated developments of the acute pneumonia epidemic caused by the new strain of the Corona virus, in order to contribute to disease prevention and control, on the morning of February 2, the Youth Union of Thai Hoa Town Police coordinated with the Town Traffic Police Team to distribute 1,200 free medical masks to people participating in traffic, focusing on distributing them to drivers and passengers on public transport and passenger cars on National Highway 48.

Along with the free distribution of medical masks, the Youth Union and the Traffic Police force also propagated traffic participants to drive in the correct lanes and at the permitted speed; at the same time, reminded people to further improve the prevention of acute pneumonia caused by the corona virus by wearing masks when participating in traffic and washing hands and feet with sanitizer.
