(Baonghean.vn) - Speaking at the national online conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2022, comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee requested that inspection and supervision work must continue to be innovated with higher political determination and more drastic and stronger actions.
On the morning of July 7, the Central Inspection Commission held a national online conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year. At the Central Inspection Commission, there were comrades: Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; comrades: Party Central Committee members, Deputy Chairmen of the Central Inspection Commission: Tran Van Ron, Tran Tien Hung chaired the conference.

Strengthen inspection for signs of violations
In the first 6 months of 2022, Party committees at all levels continue to lead, direct, and organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, resolutions, directives, and regulations on Party building and rectification.
Inspection and supervision work continues to be promoted, with many new changes; quality, effectiveness and efficiency are increasingly improved and many clear results are achieved, contributing positively to the work of Party building and rectification, and consolidating people's trust.
The Central Inspection Commission has established 19 inspection teams when there are signs of violations, including 9 inspection teams for Party organizations and Party members related to the case of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences, giving and receiving bribes, taking advantage of positions and powers while performing official duties" at Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company.

Through inspection, many Party organizations and Party members who violated the law were resolutely handled and recommended to competent authorities to strictly discipline them. Party committees at all levels have inspected 24,726 Party organizations and 106,621 Party members.
The Inspection Committees of localities and units have inspected 976 Party organizations and 3,580 Party members. Through inspection, there were 496 Party organizations. 2,619 Party members had violations and shortcomings that had to be implemented. 116 Party organizations with 1,646 Party members.
At the same time, through the inspection, violations, shortcomings, limitations, and problems in the implementation of Party discipline were promptly reminded and corrected. At the same time, the lower-level Party organizations were required to review 9 cases of disciplinary action that were not within their authority; 50 cases that were not in accordance with principles and procedures; 1 case of violation that should have been disciplined but was not; 3 cases of wrongful disciplinary action.
The Central Inspection Commission has directed the Inspection Commissions of Party Committees at all levels under the Central Committee to inspect when there are signs of violations against many Party organizations and Party members.
Regarding the enforcement of Party organization and Party member discipline, in the first 6 months of the year, Party committees at all levels and Party cells disciplined 142 Party organizations (99 reprimands, 43 warnings); disciplined 6,519 Party members (4,906 reprimands, 1,144 warnings, 235 dismissals, 234 expulsions), including 1,371 Party committee members, accounting for 21.0%.
The Inspection Committees at all levels have disciplined 48 Party organizations and 2,064 Party members, including 771 Party Committee members, accounting for 37.4%.

In Nghe An, 182 Party organizations and 331 Party members were inspected. Thematic supervision was conducted on 1,679 Party organizations and 1,146 Party members. Coordination between the Inspection Committees at all levels and relevant agencies in performing tasks was tight and in accordance with principles.
The prosecuting agencies also promptly provided information and transferred documents of violations of many grassroots Party organizations and Party members to the Inspection Committee for consideration and handling according to Party regulations.

Focus on building staff
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission highly appreciated the results of inspection, supervision and Party discipline work in the first 6 months of 2022 of Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels, completing very well the advisory work and performing tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter with a large volume, the quality and efficiency were significantly improved. Inspection Commissions at all levels have made efforts to synchronously and comprehensively perform tasks according to the plan and direction of the Inspection Commission at higher levels.
Deploying tasks for the last 6 months of 2022, comrade Tran Cam Tu requested Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels to focus on leading, directing, and implementing well a number of key contents: Research, study, and effectively implement resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations of the Party on inspection, supervision, and Party discipline, especially the newly issued regulations and conclusions of the Politburo, Secretariat, and Central Inspection Commission. Advise on the development and completion of regulations, rules, and guidelines on the Party's inspection and supervision work, ensuring scientific, synchronous, strict, unified, and feasible.
Continue to seriously, promptly and effectively implement the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Central Steering Committee on corruption prevention and control at all levels. Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels need to be more proactive, active and determined in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work, effectively implementing the 2022 Inspection and Supervision Program and focusing on directing the correction of violations and shortcomings as concluded by the Central Inspection Committee.
In particular, focus on inspecting and monitoring cadres and party members who show signs of ideological, political, moral, and lifestyle degradation, "self-evolution" and "self-transformation". Inspect and promptly and strictly handle Party organizations and party members who violate in cases and cases.

At the same time, pay attention to building the industry, perfecting the organization of the Inspection Committee in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operation; arranging enough staff where there is a shortage; focusing on training and fostering staff, building a team of inspection staff at all levels with strong political will, pure moral qualities, high sense of responsibility, good professional skills, truly impartial, objective, upright and always striving to complete assigned tasks well.
Advise the Party Committee to rotate leaders of sectors and levels to do inspection work and inspectors to work in other sectors to train and foster a source of inspection officers according to Conclusion 23-KL/TW dated December 10, 2021.
