Nghe An Electricity Company offers flowers and incense at the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs Cemetery
(Baonghean.vn) - Offering flowers and incense at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, Anh Son District, the delegation of Nghe An Electricity Company expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifice of the heroic martyrs.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on July 20, the Working Group of Nghe An Electricity Company came to offer flowers and incense at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery in Anh Son district.

Offering flowers and incense at the Uncle Ho Temple at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery in Anh Son District, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. Before his spirit, the provincial delegation vowed to continue studying, working, and contributing to the construction and protection of the country.

Next, the delegation respectfully offered incense to commemorate the souls of nearly 11,000 martyrs from 47 provinces and cities across the country, including Vietnamese experts and volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Laos while performing their noble international duties.

Commemorating this day, we cannot fail to mention the martyrs of the electricity industry. During the war against the US alone, 131 cadres and workers of the Electricity industry, including 17 martyrs of the Vinh Power Plant, fell, contributing to ensuring that the electricity would never be turned off in the Soviet homeland of Nghe Tinh.

Therefore, Nghe An Power Company always proactively plans early and prepares to serve well for the holidays throughout the province; at the same time, directs Anh Son Power Company to urgently prepare the best in all aspects to serve the week of the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute and offer incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Cemetery.
