Dong Tien transformer station started construction on October 1, 2021, the construction time of construction items is 90 days with 115 m of medium voltage, 1,200 m of low voltage line, 1 transformer station with a total capacity of 31.5 kVA, supplying electricity to 63 households in Dong Tien village (imported from Nam Nui and Nam Ke villages of Hua Na resettlement area)

Muong Phu transformer station, Thong Thu commune started construction on October 1, 2021, the construction time of construction items is 90 days with 3,286 m of medium voltage, 4,680 m of low voltage line, 1 transformer station with a total capacity of 100 - 35 / 0.4kVA, supplying electricity to 267 households.

These are projects under the Project to invest in the construction of rural electricity supply works from the National Grid in Nghe An province in the period 2015-2020.

The project aims to develop medium and low voltage power grids to supply electricity to villages and hamlets without electricity in Nghe An province, meeting the electricity supply needs for socio-economic development goals to gradually improve the intellectual life of ethnic minorities in remote areas while ensuring political security.Nghe An province.

Mr. Lang Van Phe in Dong Tien village, Dong Van commune (Que Phong) excitedly said: To welcome the Lunar New Year of Nham Dan, people have national grid electricity to use. Now people have electricity for lighting, for daily life, people can use rice cookers, washing machines, air conditioners. Especially with electricity, people in the village can invest in ginger processing machines, as well as invest in developing economic models to increase income for people.

Mr. Le Dai Nghia - Director of Quy Chau Electricity Company said that the project to expand and renovate the power grid in remote areas in Dong Van commune has great significance, demonstrating the attention of the Party, the State and the Electricity industry for ethnic minorities in remote areas, especially difficult areas. In 2022, Quy Chau Electricity Company is expected to strive to complete 100% of the remaining villages and hamlets with national grid electricity.

According to Nghe An Electricity Company, with 115 villages and hamlets in the remote areas of Quy Chau, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Que Phong, Quy Hop, Thanh Chuong districts that do not have access to the national grid... the Electricity sector continues to coordinate with authorities at all levels to establish investment projects and urge contractors to speed up construction progress to bring electricity to the remaining villages and hamlets. According to the roadmap, in 2022, 76 more villages and hamlets will be connected to the national grid.

Along with implementing the project of supplying electricity to rural households, mountainous areas, remote areas, in recent years, the electricity sector has also focused on mobilizing capital sources to renovate and upgrade the power grid infrastructure to improve the quality of electricity sources, better serving the needs of people in the area, especially remote areas of Nghe An province.
