(Baonghean.vn) - Voters of Chau Binh commune requested that the authorities have solutions to speed up the implementation of the Mong Village Irrigation Project, and at the same time quickly carry out compensation and support for site clearance, stabilizing the lives of affected households.

On the afternoon of October 4, at Chau Binh commune headquarters, National Assembly deputies elected in constituency No. 2 met with voters from Chau Hoi, Chau Binh and Chau Nga communes of Quy Chau district.

On behalf of the National Assembly deputies at constituency No. 2, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security informed voters about the expected program and content of the second session of the 15th National Assembly.

Taking place from October 20 to November 13, 2021, the upcoming session is expected to be divided into two sessions, organized online and in person. The National Assembly will consider and approve two draft laws and three draft resolutions, including a resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.

In addition, the second session of the 15th National Assembly will spend time reviewing and commenting on five draft laws, including: the Mobile Police Law; the Cinema Law (amended); the Insurance Business Law (amended); the Emulation and Commendation Law (amended) and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law. Delegates will also focus on reviewing and studying socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues.

Speaking at the conference, saying that the Mong Village Irrigation Project was prolonged, and compensation and support for site clearance were implemented in small increments, affecting the stability of people's lives, voter Nguyen Minh Giang - Secretary of the Binh Quang Village Party Cell, Chau Binh Commune proposed to implement compensation and support for people before making a decision to reclaim land, and hoped that the remaining households subject to site clearance would soon receive compensation.

Voter Pham Quang Tan, Chau Binh commune, mentioned the great losses that the locality has suffered due to natural disasters in recent years, and suggested that the National Assembly study more mechanisms, policies, and sanctions related to the protection of forest resources, especially natural forests, and at the same time further promote afforestation in mountainous areas such as Quy Chau.

Meanwhile, voter Ha Van Hoai - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Hoi commune reflected on the difficulties in water sources for agricultural production in Khum village and expressed concern about the implementation of the policy to support relatives of people with revolutionary contributions without distinguishing between beneficiaries being well-off or poor households...

Representing the remote commune of Chau Nga, voter Nguyen Tat Dien raised concerns of the people about the merger with Chau Hoi commune, which is expected to be implemented in the near future, causing difficulties and inconveniences for people when traveling to the commune headquarters after the merger to carry out administrative procedures, especially when the current working headquarters of these two communes are nearly 14 km apart.

The leaders of Quy Chau district will continue to pay attention to investing in remote areas such as Chau Nga commune, but the most fundamental thing is that the locality must strive to promote internal resources and promote socio-economic development...

Regarding voters' questions related to the implementation of policies for people with meritorious services, a representative of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs informed that this is a humane policy balanced from the provincial budget to support people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services who are poor households but have not yet received monthly allowances. Thereby, ensuring that these people have a standard of living equal to or higher than the average standard of living of the people.
