Voters of Quynh Luu district propose policies to support the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas.

On the afternoon of November 30, National Assembly delegates of delegation group No. 3, including comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, had meetings with voters of Quynh Luu district after the 10th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Concerns about farmers abandoning their fields

At the conference, there were 6 turns of voters' opinions reflecting to National Assembly delegates a number of issues related to socio-economic fields and personnel work under the authority of the National Assembly, provinces and localities.

Voter Nguyen Van Hung is concerned about the situation where people are not interested in agricultural production because of low economic efficiency, which has been happening for many years now. He suggested that the State needs to have more comprehensive support mechanisms, policies, and solutions.

It is necessary to continue to accumulate land to apply scientific and technical advances to production; encourage investors to invest in agricultural production. Support mechanisms and policies for communes to build advanced new rural areas,model new countryside.

Mr. Ho Quy Toc proposed that the Party and the State should pay attention to the regime and policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution, war invalids and those who enjoy the same policies as war invalids, they are people of advanced age but have low allowances and subsidies. He suggested that the State should consider raising the allowances for these subjects to match the current living standards.

The opinions of voters in Quynh Luu district are related to the issuance and replacement of land use right certificates, and the relocation of unsafe electric poles. Regarding voters' opinions reflecting the situation of university graduates not having jobs after graduation, which is quite common, the Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office accepted voters' opinions and suggested that ministries and functional branches plan training orientation and career orientation for students; review, consider and focus on training suitable industries and professions to ensure balance with recruitment needs, and should not train indiscriminately, causing waste for families and society.

Clarifying voters' recommendations on investmentagricultural infrastructure, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh said, in recent times, the State and the province have had many mechanisms and policies to attract investors to the agricultural sector. However, investing in agricultural infrastructure and building new rural areas requires large funds and time.

The opinions and recommendations of voters were received by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and forwarded to ministries, branches and the province to continue to pay attention to investing in agricultural development.
