Nghe An voters: Must "burn the furnace" down to the grassroots level
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the requests and wishes of the people of Phu Son commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An sent to the National Assembly delegates at the voter meeting after the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Before listening to and absorbing voters' opinions, delegate Moong Van Tinh informed voters of the results of the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly.
Next, voters of Phu Son commune proposed to the National Assembly deputies many groups of issues, focusing on some contents such as: expressing sympathy with the anti-corruption work of the Party and State in recent times, but mainly the "furnace" has only "burned" at the Central level.
Therefore, voters hope that the Party and State will further promote the work of preventing and fighting corruption down to the grassroots level, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party.

Many voters of Phu Son commune proposed to resolve policies for people with revolutionary contributions, for frontline workers in Laos, for retired preschool teachers; policies for people infected with toxic chemicals...
Voters of Phu Son commune also proposed to resolve existing problems such as thoroughly resolving violations in land management and use (there are still many land disputes, land encroachment, lack of transparency in construction of public works); issues of site clearance; the working attitude of some commune officials still shows signs of bureaucracy and distance from the people; the completion of construction investment items, including Phu Son bridge which has not been completed for more than 11 years.
Voters of Phu Son commune also requested relevant departments and agencies to have solutions to increase support for people of Phu Son commune to break through poverty; in which special attention should be paid to strengthening inspection and supervision work at commune and hamlet levels...

Representatives of Tan Ky district and Phu Son commune leaders answered and explained opinions related to commune-level authority. Delegate Tran Van Mao also answered voters' opinions and said that the provincial National Assembly delegation will summarize and transfer to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
Previously, on the morning of July 10, National Assembly deputies also had a meeting with voters of Nghia Dan district at the district People's Committee.
