Voter Nguyen Trung Chau (Ngu Loc hamlet) said that Nghe An is facing the risk of becoming a “depressed area” when compared to the development of Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh provinces. To develop the province faster and more sustainably, voter Chau suggested that all levels, sectors, especially the leaders of the province, need to be more concerned and overcome “short-term” thinking and term-based thinking in development.
In particular, the province needs to consider and determine the roadmap to merge Vinh city and Cua Lo town to become a famous coastal tourist city in the country; along with that, there must be a strategy and strong investment in tourism development, becoming a key economic sector, creating development momentum for the province.
Concerned about the medical staff of the block and hamlet, voter Le Thi Le Thu (Ngu Phuc hamlet) said that the Provincial People's Committee's regulation of the age of medical staff of the block and hamlet from 18 to 55 years old for women (up to 60 years old if they have intermediate level or higher) and up to 60 years old for men (65 years old if they have intermediate level or higher) is not appropriate.
In fact, in the current urban area, this team is mainly recruited from retired medical staff who are healthy, dedicated, and responsible, while other subjects are very difficult to recruit because the allowance is not "attractive" enough - only 400,000 VND/person/month.
Some voters suggested that all levels and sectors strengthen the management of cultural products, including propaganda and education, especially for the younger generation, in dressing, preserving traditional customs and traditions, avoiding revealing clothing, creating opportunities for depraved behavior to develop. Voters also recommended that the province and city speed up the process of merging administrative units of communes, wards, blocks and hamlets, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the apparatus.

In addition, the degraded power grid infrastructure has not been invested in promptly; the relocation of electric poles when opening roads... were also issues mentioned at the meeting.
Provincial and city People's Council delegates accepted all comments and suggestions from voters and promised to be responsible for reporting fully to the Provincial People's Council, provincial and city departments and branches for research and resolution.
