Nghe An Tax Department is determined to complete the 2021 budget revenue target.
(Baonghean.vn) - That was the emphasis and request of comrade Trinh Thanh Hai - Director of Nghe An Tax Department at the conference to summarize and deploy tax tasks in 2021 organized by Nghe An Tax Department on the afternoon of January 15 in Vinh City.

In 2020,Nghe An Tax DepartmentImplementing tasks in the context of many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but with the spirit of solidarity and high determination and timely direction and leadership of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and the Provincial People's Committee, the Nghe An Tax sector has exceeded the budget revenue target. At the end of 2020, the revenue reached 16,186 billion VND, equal to 125% of the ordinance estimate and 121% of the People's Council estimate, equal to 109% over the same period.

Notably, the domestic revenue balance (excluding land use fees) reached 11,131 billion VND. There were 13 revenue items that reached and exceeded the assigned estimates, including revenue from foreign-invested enterprises, revenue from local state-owned enterprises, registration fees, personal income tax, etc.
There are 3 items that are expected to not meet the assigned estimate: revenue from non-state industry, trade and services; revenue from central state-owned enterprises; fees and charges. 10/10 tax branches completed the estimate in terms of total revenue and revenue minus land use fees.

The highlight of 2020 of the Tax sector is the parallel propaganda and implementation of new tax policies in the direction oftax policy dialogueNghe An Tax Department actively reviews and resolves tax support policies for businesses and business households such as tax deferral, corporate income tax reduction, tax extension, debt settlement, debt cancellation, electronic tax declaration; and cuts 30% of tax inspections and audits at businesses.
At the conference, representatives of tax branches and specialized departments of the Tax Department spoke, focusing on the results and some difficulties and limitations. They emphasized that in 2020, due to the Covid pandemic and changes in the state's tax policy mechanism, revenue also decreased by nearly VND 500 billion. However, the tax sector has made efforts to complete the assigned tasks.

Entering 2021, the Nghe An Tax sector was assigned by the Ministry of Finance an estimated revenue of 11,912 billion VND, excluding land use fees of 9,562 billion VND; the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee assigned an estimated revenue of 12,782 billion VND, an increase of 1,000 billion VND in land use fees compared to the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance.
Within the framework of the conference, Nghe An tax sector focused on discussions on the basis of agreement that in 2021, it will deploy 4 key tax tasks and 17 groups of solutions.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Trinh Thanh Hai - Director of Nghe An Tax Department said that although there are still many difficulties and challenges and the pressure to assign targets to the Tax sector is still great, especially the unfulfilled revenues in 2020 and some expected revenues will no longer exist. Therefore, promoting the achievements, tax branches and tax officials must make more efforts and determination to successfully complete the targets assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Council. It is necessary to strengthen propaganda, administrative reform, and reduce hassles so that businesses and people can better understand tax policies and thereby comply with tax obligations...
