The thug who assaulted the medical staff in Nghe An has been identified as a 'big shot'.
(Baonghean.vn) - The subject who assaulted a medical officer in Quy Chau (Nghe An) on the evening of June 21 was identified as Vo Tien Dung, residing in Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district. On the afternoon of June 24, the Nghe An Department of Health sent an official dispatch requesting the provincial police to promptly investigate and clarify this assault case.
Identify the perpetrator
On the evening of June 21, two subjects assaulted, beat, and injured a medical officer at the Quy Chau District Medical Center while the officer was on duty treating a patient.

Mr. VTT, in Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district, who is taking care of his family here, confirmed: “This group of people were very aggressive when they entered. Before beating the medical staff, this group threatened to beat the staff on duty and the security guard. The two people who directly beat the medical staff were Vo Tien Dung and Dung's wife, who live in Hoa Hai block, Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district. Dung is a notorious local gangster who often quarrels and beats people...
After beating the medical staff, Dung stood in the middle of the medical center gate to urinate, challenging them. The next day (June 22), Dung continued to beat another person, causing them to be hospitalized.

Doctor Lo Thanh Quy - Deputy Director of Quy Chau Medical Center said: When the medical staff was assaulted, the Center called the Quy Chau District Police. Then 2 district police officers came down to record the incident.
And on the morning of June 22, medical staff went to the police station to report the incident at the request of the district police.
Quy Chau Medical Center also extracted the camera images and sent them to the authorities.
Doctor Lo Thanh Quy added: Up to this point, the two subjects who beat the medical staff have not yet apologized to the unit and nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong. Subject Dung has "sent a message" through some staff of the Center that on June 24, he will visit and "reconcile" with nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong who is being treated at the Provincial General Hospital.

Previously, Do Luong District Police also prosecuted Nguyen Hoai Nam (born 1986, Hanoi) when Nam assaulted a nurse at Do Luong General Hospital on the evening of May 29, 2016.
